PromptQuest Privacy Policy

When you right-click an image (or upload one) and choose "Generate AI Prompt", the extension sends that image to our backend, which uses a third-party AI model to analyze it and return text prompts. You need a free account and an API token to use this feature.

• Account information: When you create an account, we store your email address and an encrypted password (handled by our authentication provider). We associate your account with a credit balance and your progress in our optional gamification features (level, streak, quests, achievements).
• Images you submit: Images you choose to analyze are transmitted to our backend and sent to our AI provider to generate prompts. We store a record of each analysis (including the generated prompts) associated with your account so you have a history. We do not use your images to train any AI models.
• Usage data: We record actions needed to run the service, such as the number of analyses you perform (to deduct credits and track quest progress).
• Payment information: If you purchase credits, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your payment credentials (such as card numbers or wallet keys). We store a record of your orders (pack, amount, status, date).

• We do not track your general browsing history.
• We do not read the content of web pages you visit.
• The extension only accesses an image when you explicitly choose to analyze it.
• We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

To provide the service, limited data is shared with:

• Our cloud/database and authentication provider (to store your account, credits, and analysis history).
• Our AI provider (to analyze the images you submit and generate prompts).
• Our payment provider (to process credit purchases).

These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service.

We keep your account data and analysis history while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

• contextMenus – to add the "Generate AI Prompt" option to the right-click menu.
• storage – to save your API token and cached credit count locally in your browser.
• activeTab / scripting – to read the image you select for analysis.
• host access – to send the selected image to our backend for analysis.

The extension uses these permissions solely to provide prompt generation. It does not use them to monitor your browsing.

PromptQuest is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
